People at some point in their lives will wonder if God hears their prayers. The simple answer is "YES"! Does that mean that because we asked God for something we will get it? That's a big fat "NO". There are three answers we receive from God. "Yes", "NO", and "Maybe".
However, if we pray inline with God's word, which is HIS will for our lives, through HIM, and is available to all in the Bible. Then our petitions will be heard and received by HIM. After this, we will receive an answer.
Now, the answer may not be what we want. But that is OK. God’s way is the right way. And none of us, no matter how obedient to God we are, know more than Jehovah-Jireh (Our provider).
So many times I have prayed for things that, had I gotten my way, it would have been the worst thing that could have happened to me. Think about that. Over your life I would say we have all gone through this.
As I get older, more settled in life, and closer in my walk with God through Jesus Our Savior, I understand that God will provide a way for me. A way that is better than I could ever do for myself. Just because we want something doesn't mean it is good for us. Think about past heartbreaks and what could have been if they weren't heartbreaks. I'm definitely happier where I am with my beautiful wife than I could have ever been with anyone from my past.
So, as the shirt the lady is wearing in this blog image says, “PUSH”, Pray Until Something Happens! This is the best way. And over time you may find you get what you are asking for. Just not the way you expected it. Remember this, God speaks back to you in prayer. Just be sure that you are listening.
I believe what Billy Graham said about changing the course of events in life. As long as we get down on our knees and sincerely pray, and ask for God's assistance, that we can get it. Just keep doing it and be serious and sincere.
God wants to see us happy and fruitful. He loves all of HIS children, even the ones who haven't come to HIM yet. Be one of HIS children and pray selflessly with passion and sincerity. Look back a few blogs and read the one called "ACTS Prayer". It will help.
Father God I pray to you in Jesus Christ of Nazareth's Mighty Name.
God, I adore you. I worship you. I lift you above all the Heavens and the Earth. There is nothing, nobody higher than you.
Father, I thank you that you teach me every day through your Holy Spirit to pray in line with your word. I thank you that my prayers are now being answered because you have taught me to seek first The Kingdom of God and all these things will be added unto me.
God, I remember when I first came to you in dire need, broken and distraught. It seemed as if none of my prayers were being answered. Thank You for this. I know now that it would have been doom for me had they been answered the way I thought was right.
You have since brought me closer to you. This is the way it happens. You make us grow spiritually and closer to you. Without this, we would just get our way in prayer and forget about what you have done for us. We are to always to put you in remembrance of this God.
YOU gave me a beautiful wife and family. You aligned us with a Church Family that is absolutely wonderful. You put us in a nice home and have come through on all of our NEEDS that were serious to us. I will be the first to say that none of what you have done for us has come in the way I expected or had hoped. I thank you, Father, dearly for this.
Father I will continue to seek your face early in the morning and throughout the day forever more. I thank you with a humble and most grateful heart that you have taught me to PRAY! And I thank you that your only begotten Son Jesus gave us the blueprint for prayer.
Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.
The Kingdom come. They will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.
And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever. Amen.
